Meet The Executive Director

Janet Richardson brings over 35 years of professional experience to her role as Executive Director at Mattison Crossing. Her career began in banking, where she spent 25 years honing her skills in leadership, customer service, and operations before transitioning to the nonprofit sector to support seniors. Inspired by her lifelong passion for service, Janet found her true calling in Assisted Living more than six years ago and is a Certified Assisted Living Administrator.

Her compassion for seniors was shaped early by her grandmother, who taught her the importance of care, community, and connection. Outside of her professional work, Janet dedicated 25 years to coaching competitive cheerleading, leading teams to eight national titles and earning a town proclamation for community service.

Married for over 40 years, Janet is a proud mother of three and grandmother of four. She enjoys baking, creative projects with her grandchildren, movies, crocheting, music, and dancing. Janet leads with warmth, dedication, and a deep commitment to the residents and families she serves.
